^{In Luanda, Angola, at he age of 17, won the 1st prize in ceramics and the 2nd prize in painting given by the City Council.}
^{Expo 98 – was one of the artists chosen to represent Angola in the World Exhibition of 1998 in Lisbon.}
^{2005 – Selected as a candidate for the prize commemorating the V Centenary ot the death of St. Francis Xavier, organized by the Ministry of Culture.}
^{2006 – Selected for the Biennial of Vila Nova de Cerveira, Portugal, with an installation work entitled “NION-Not In Our Name”.}
^{2007 – Selected for the Biennial Coruche, Portugal.}
